Particular attention will be given to new offshore exploration opportunities, recent production sharing agreements, modern seismic programmes and the role of international partnerships in supporting the long-term development of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
The session will examine opportunities to maximise the value of Turkmenistan's natural gas resources through gas processing, petrochemical production, fertiliser manufacturing and industrial diversification.
This session will explore how the energy industry can develop the next generation of technical and business leaders through education, professional development, digital skills and stronger university–industry collaboration. Particular attention will be given to the changing skills required by AI and digitalisation, international career development and the role of professional organisations such as SPE in supporting young energy professionals.
The session will examine how digital technologies, artificial intelligence and advanced engineering solutions are transforming operational efficiency, productivity, safety and sustainability throughout the energy value chain.
This strategic session will explore the development of integrated gas, power and digital corridors connecting Central Asia with regional and international markets. Discussions will focus on TAPI and long-term gas markets, cross-border electricity transmission, fibreoptic connectivity and emerging Caspian links, examining how investment and regional cooperation can strengthen energy security, export diversification and East–West connectivity.
The closing technical session will examine international cooperation in methane emissions reduction, environmental performance, energy efficiency and the role of natural gas in supporting a balanced and sustainable energy future.
