REGIONAL ENERGY CONNECTIVITY: EXPORT ROUTES AND LONG-TERM GAS MARKETS Nazim Samoon is the TAPI Project Coordination Director at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan, where he leads high-level coordination with government institutions, TAPI member countries, project stakeholders, and international partners in support of the implementation of the TAPI Natural Gas Pipeline Project. He has more than 12 years of professional experience in the fields of energy, law, public policy, project Management, international agreements, and strategic management. Prior to his current position, he served as Senior Advisor to the TAPI Project and held senior legal and advisory roles dealing with water and energy, international treaties, and transboundary water issues. Samoon holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from South Asian University in New Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from Dawat University in Kabul.
