Fares Alblooshi is an energy professional with broad experience spanning upstream operations, strategic investments, and international business development. He began his career with ADNOC Onshore in production engineering and field operations, where he gained extensive experience in natural gas production, well interventions, drilling activities, and complex sour-gas operations. He subsequently transitioned into ADNOC’s Group Strategic Investments function, focusing on investment origination and execution, financial modelling and valuation, portfolio management, and transaction execution. He later moved into international business development, with a focus on identifying and evaluating global gas and LNG opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, structuring transactions, and supporting negotiations and investment decisions. Fares holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Khalifa University and most recently, he has assumed the role of ADNOC Turkmenistan Country Manager and Branch Director.
