Geology and Geophysics Domain Lead for the Caspian Region, SLB
Tatyana Bashimova graduated with honors from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Geophysical Methods for Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits. She has 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 7.5 years with Turkmengeology and more than 18.5 years with SLB. She has extensive expertise in seismic interpretation, seismic attribute analysis, seismic inversion, velocity modeling, and the application of machine learning techniques within the Petrel platform. She currently serves as the Geology and Geophysics Domain Lead for the Caspian Region at SLB, where she is responsible for advancing technical expertise and promoting the adoption of modern digital technologies in geoscience. Tatyana is also actively involved in professional training, mentoring young specialists and promoting STEM education among university and high school students.
