President of Turkmenistan opens a complex of new buildings and facilities of military units in Lebap velayat
On 24 January, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, took part in the opening ceremony of a complex of new buildings and facilities of military units of the Armed Forces in the Lebap velayat. This event became a wonderful gift for servicemen on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, which is widely celebrated in the country. The President of Turkmenistan was welcomed here with musical and song performances. Among the facilities constructed by the individual enterprise “Aga gurluşyk” are a parade ground, a canteen, a House of Culture, barracks, a medical unit, an open sports ground, a training polygon with a reservoir, a vehicle parking area, a helipad, as well as service, utility and social-purpose buildings. All necessary conditions for the service and daily life of servicemen have been created here. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces familiarized himself with the conditions created in the administrative building of the complex and visited the barracks located on its territory. The technical equipment of the administrative building, the layout of offices and the conditions created fully comply with international standards and requirements in this field. The barracks are provided with everything necessary for proper rest and meaningful leisure for servicemen. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov left a commemorative entry in the Book of Honored Guests. The Head of State reviewed modern military equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles that have recently entered service with the National Army. While getting acquainted with the unique features of the military equipment presented, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief emphasized that the material and technical base of the National Army will continue to be consistently strengthened, with particular focus on improving the professional level of young soldiers and officers.
