In the southeast of Turkmenistan, gas workers are preparing for the autumn-winter season
Specialists of the "Gundogargazakdyrysh" Department of the "Turkmengazakdyrysh" Association of the "Turkmengaz" State Concern service more than 3,884 kilometers of high-pressure main gas pipelines in the Mary and Lebap velayats. The department is in charge of 93 gas distribution stations, 14 pressure control units and 6 gas metering points, ussatnews.com reports. In preparation for the autumn-winter season, repair work was carried out on sections of the Dovletabad-Daryalyk main gas pipeline, between the "Shatlyk" and "Karakum" compressor stations. In particular, a 5884-meter section was overhauled - from 0 to 67 kilometers, where obsolete pipes were replaced with new ones with a diameter of 1420 mm. Large-sized valves with a diameter of 1400 mm were also replaced at 111.5 km of the second branch and 113 km of the first branch of the pipeline.
