Nagarajan Naupa is a highly accomplished Reservoir Surveillance Manager with over 15 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas operations at PETRONAS Carigali. His expertise spans field development planning, completion design, reservoir surveillance, and production optimization, with a strong focus on maximizing asset value through data-driven strategies and innovative technologies. Nagarajan has led numerous high-impact initiatives across Peninsular Malaysia Asset, Sarawak Malaysia Asset, and Turkmenistan, contributing to the successful development and sustained productivity of both mature and marginal fields. His technical acumen is complemented by hands-on experience in: Designing and executing production enhancement campaigns in brownfields. Implementing novel sand control and surface sand management techniques for high-rate gas wells. Optimizing well performance through drawdown analysis, choke management, and real-time surveillance. Pioneering the Compact Low Pressure System (CLPS) concept to unlock production from low THP wells, reducing deferment and enhancing field uptime. Currently based in Turkmenistan Operations (Block 1), Nagarajan is spearheading efforts in sand management, remedial well interventions, and cross-disciplinary integration between subsurface and surface teams.
