Turkmenistan strengthens ties with an international financial institutions at the OPEC Forum
A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Rahymberdi Jepbarov, a Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, is participating in the OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026, currently taking place in Vienna. Held under the motto «A transition that Empowers our tomorrow», this year's forum marks the 50th anniversary of the OPEC Fund for International Development. The event brings together government officials, development institutions, and business leaders from around the world. As part of the visit to Vienna, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, a President of the OPEC Fund for International Development; Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, a Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development; and Baghdats Amreyev, a President of the Turkic Investment Fund.
