A State concern «Türkmennebit» has been authorized to conclude an agreement on the development of licensed blocks in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. The corresponding Resolution was signed by a President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on June 17. The agreement will be signed between the State concern «Türkmennebit», the Malaysian company «PETRONAS Çarigali (Türkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd.» and the state enterprise «Hazarnebit» of the concern. The Resolution was adopted for the purposes of successful fulfillment of the tasks set for the oil and gas industry, as well as effective development of licensed blocks located in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, on the basis of the Law of Turkmenistan «On Hydrocarbon Resources».
